AuthorHouse® announces new lower page counts and pricing to help authors  self-publish full-colour books.

Children’s, poetry, art and photography book authors welcome news

Milton Keynes—AuthorHouse, the world’s leading provider of publishing and marketing services, announced today that utilizing new technology has allowed full-colour printing costs to decrease by as much as 20 percent. This substantial reduction will help authors place books in a better market position, in many cases yielding additional selling opportunities.

In addition to the reduction in printing costs, authors are now able to self-publish full-colour books of less than 28 pages. This gives even more authors the opportunity to publish their work and bring it to market at a competitive price. Children’s and short poetry book authors are especially expected to benefit from this new service.

“As printing technology evolves and the process becomes more refined, we are able to pass along cost savings and better deliver on our promise to authors—Your Voice in Print,” said Tim Davies, managing director of AuthorHouse. Davies added, “More affordable colour books means good news for authors and for consumers.”
