"Stay here" Cameron told the others, then began to walk over towards the ghost farmer. He walked slowly,then turned and looked at all the other kids,smiled then turned back again, he gulped then continued to walk forward until he was about 2 feet in front of the farmer, "Hi, I'm err" Cameron gulped, he was very nervous. "I'm Cameron Jack Sir" he continued. "Welcome young Cameron" the farmer replied, and as he said that hundreds of hands suddenly popped up from the ground and grabbed Cameron's legs. "Aaarrrhhh" Cameron screamed in fear as the hands started to pull him down, "Help me!" He screamed. "Aaarrrhhh" screamed Jess. All the over kids froze with fear. "Help him!" screamed Jess as she watched her brother sinking into the ground as the hands pulled him down. The ground was all soft and gooey around him. Jess was panicking and screaming. "Help him, help him! Cameron!" she continued to scream. "Please help me Jess" he cried to his sister, but he was being pulled down harder and faster. He was now down to his waist and the hands were tightly pulling on him. He struggled to move and had his arms in the air and begging for help as the others all watched on helplessly. Barry and Peter ran up closer to Cameron to try and help but as they got closer they started to sink in the gooey ground around him. "Cameron!" cried Jess, "Cameron please" she cried with tears running down her face. Cameron was petrified, "Help me Jess!" he cried. He was now down to his chest and was now sinking faster and faster as the hands pulled on him. His face was bright red as he strained to free himself and pull himself out. "Pull harder!" Jess screamed at him. Then a big pair of hands grabbed hold of his head and pulled him completely under the ground. "Cam mate" Barry whispered to himself, "Where are you?" Barry's eyes watered up. All the younger kids started crying. Chelsey started to take all the kids back into the farm house. "Come on, come on, lets all go back" she hushed them all away. The ground went rock hard again. Jess fell to her knees and crying, staring at where her brother was. "Now what do we do?" asked Barry.........

About the Book
In his second adventure, Cameron,Jess and mate Barry travel back to 1944 war time Britain, where they find several orphan kids living secretly in an old run down farm next to a small town. The farm appears to be haunted and the ghosts have an interest in Cameron.However, Cameron gets trapped by the ghosts at the same time Germans capture the kids and take over the town. It is darker than the 1st, creepy but has a slapstick story line. This time its war, ghosts V German soldiers.......
About the Author
Born September 1969, Chris always wanted to write kids books. When he was made redundant from his job he sat down and wrote his first book, Cameron Jack and the key to the universe. Whilst writing it he came up with a story to another Cameron Jack book. This time, its a little darker and more scary than the first book,but contains slapstick humour. It is a little longer and a little more detailed than the first book. However, Chris now has a third book in mind and says it will be bigger and better than before.
