I was inspired to create and write this pet diary & photo album after my family and I recently adopted a little, lost dog. I have always kept a school diary & photo album about my son, Stephen. School diaries are published for this purpose. I wanted to start a pet diary for our dog, Buddy, but was unable to find any published pet diaries. I decided to write one and felt that other pet owners would enjoy it also.

The pet diary is a fun and creative way to record memories of pets. For children, keeping a pet diary encourages their talents and builds skills like writing. The pet diary can be a great family project to do together. I enjoy looking back through the diary I have kept about my son. Many memories would be forgotten without the photos and diary to help us remember. Years from now, it will be comforting and enjoyable to look back through the pet diary and photo album about our dog, Buddy.

Nancy has been married to her husband, Dan, for eighteen years. They have a son, Stephen, who is fifteen years old. Nancy has been a Registered Nurse for twenty-two years. Recently, Nancy and her family adopted a little, lost dog they named "Buddy". Buddy was the inspiration behind Nancy creating and writing this pet diary and photo album.

Nancy has lived in Indiana all her life. She grew up with a lot of family pets including: cats, dogs, birds, fish, gerbils, rabbits and chameleons, just to list some of them. Nancy and her family have many enjoyable as well as hilarious memories of their pets. Nancy is passing on her love and enjoyment of animals to her son, Stephen.
