Jubilata Dayo
Dreamers and voyagers, the boy and girl in this little story are on a journey from where they are to where they can be. In this ageless quest, they are beckoned by the glimmer of their dreams as they behold the light that surrounds and suffuses all that is.
They are tempted to lose heart, though, because of the darkness that can steal quietly into their lives, but which can never completely overpower the enduring and triumphant light.
Called to ruminations and wonderings from an early age, I was always eager to share my essays and poems during school years. I am presently concentrating on short stories and have had a number of op-ed published.
It is my experience that the fulfillment of 'having written' gives birth to the ardent desire of sharing the word and passing it on.
...not so long ago, in a place very close to where you are right now, there lived a boy and a girl who loved to dream and wonder about many things.
... 'Sometime you have to really struggle to believe, and the light gets very, very, dim.'
'But, someone or something always seems to come along and helps you find your own light again.'
