Maggie Stevens is the mother of three boys and grandmother of two. She moved to Madisonville, Texas, in 1988, where she began her research and writing of this series. Maggie has a love of nature and all kinds of music, rhythm and rhyme, as is revealed in her writing. She still resides in Madisonville, Texas, with her husband, Dan, who is a member of America's Road Team--a Truckin' Man.
