Robert James Warner was born on September 6, 1925, in Long Beach, California, one of a set of twin boys. He was raised in Long Beach, California, attending the local schools.
Mr. Warner was drafted into the Navy on March 9th, 1944 (WW2), when he finished High School. He was discharged from the Navy on June 16, 1946.
After leaving the Navy he went to Long Beach City College, on the G.I. Bill, taking Mechanical Engineering, then journalism. About a year and a half later he quit.
Mr. Warner was an avid reader of books, which ignited an interest in writing fiction. During the next few years he wrote some songs and some poetry and some short stories. His output was quite low.
From 1947 to 1950, after leaving City College, Mr. Warner had a number of inconsequential jobs, the longest at Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach for eight months, then he quit.
In 1950 he enlisted in the Active Naval Reserve. Three months later, the Korean War started and Mr. Warner was called back into the Navy Aircorp in July, discharged in August, 1951, serving on three aircraft carriers, off of Korea, bombing and strafing the communists!
After Korea, 1951, Mr. Warner went to sea on a freighter as a deckhand, making two trips to the Hawaiian Islands, 30 days round trip, hauling bulk sugar for C&H Sugar in, Crocket, California, on the Sacramento River.
Leaving the ship in Crocket, Mr. Warner went to Santa Rosa, California, where he washed dishes in some restaurants and got a poem published in the local newspaper, a big day in his life.
That spring, 1952, he went to Yosemite, washed some more dishes, then went home and back to City College majoring in journalism, writing a column on the college newspaper.
Mr. Warner has cleaned chicken dung from under the pens; he owned and operated his own auto wrecking yard; owned his own 2nd Store; worked as a copyboy on the Long Beach Press-Telegram; was half owner of a Yacht Landing; speculated in Real Estate and worked at some other odd jobs, going to work for the Long Beach Fire Department in 1953 for the next 26 years, retiring in October, 1979.
Mr. Warner got married in 1961, had his son in 1963; was divorced in 1973.
The summer of 1974, Mr. Warner and his son, Jeff, drove to Alaska. On his return, Mr. Warner wrote his first novel, a huge science-fiction-fantasy novel of over 2,000 pages.
Mr. Warner has written and self-published 35 books with AuthorHouse, including novels; one poetry book; one non-fiction book; and short story collections.
Mr. Warner is hard at work on other writing projects.

The reason I named by civil war book, Damn Slavers, a deliberate disparaging, belittling, jeering, insulting slur name is because the traitors called Loyal Americans, Damn Yankees, a deliberate disparaging, belittling, jeering, insulting slur name!
I also named the traitors, graybellies, because of their gray uniforms because the traitors called Loyal Americans in the Army, bluebellies, a deliberate, disparaging, belittling, jeering, insulting slur name!
The Damn Slavers deserved some of their own back so I gave it to them, Damn Slavers and graybellies! They deserved it, the graybelly slimes!
I started out with a grandiose plan to write as objective a civil war book as I could, which turned out to be the gullible, naive, trusting plan of a simpleton, a babe in the woods, which I admit to, reluctantly, of course, because my grandiose plan was quickly smashed to smithereens by the traitor slimes and the biased, bigoted, base civil war historians who were and are as objective as psycho fanatics defending their fanaticism, who are as biased, bigoted, and base as it is possible for human beings to be filled with such depraved, debased, degenerate vileness which they unleashed on the Loyalists, before, during, and after the civil war, to the present, August, 2004!
I was so overwhelmed, sickened, shocked, and offended by the despicable bias, bigotry, and baseness of the traitors and the civil war historians and their lies, inaccuracies, coverups, left-outs, libels, slanders, name calling, and hypocrisy that I almost instantly lost my grandiose plan to be as objective as I could and turned into a subjective defender of Loyal America before, during, and after the civil war, treating the traitors, worse, I hope, than they treated Loyal America and calling them vile names because of all of the vile things and vile names they called Loyal America before, during, and after the civil war!!!
What offended and upset me the most was and is the fact that Loyal America, the victims, are treated as the bad guys of the civil war, the traitors, the villains, are treated as the good guys of the civil war, so I determined that they were not going to get away with such vileness any longer so I wrote my civil war land war book, and a companion book about the sea, lake, and river war the Navy fought so magnificently all during the civil war, to denounce them, condemn them, and to dishonor them as the despicable villains of the civil war that they really were and are and try to insist on some of the real truths of the civil war that Loyal Americans so gallantly, so courageously, so magnificently fought to an unconditional surrender!!!
I found out the traitors never had the guts to this day in the present, August, 2004, to take the blame for all of the hideousness of the civil war that they were and are responsible for, that''s the kind of despicable moral cowards and hypocrites they are which I damn and denounce and condemn them for because they deserve it for doing what they did to America and to the Loyal American people, the victims of the Damn Slaver villains who started the civil war to defend slavery!!!
One of the worst of the vile things the biased civil war historians did and do, was and is to blame gallant Loyal heros, like General Grant and General Sherman, especially General Grant, for the death, crippling, and maiming of the men, traitor and Loyal, on the battlefields of the civil war!!!
I am sick to death of reading, hearing, and seeing such stupid, biased libel and slander: none of the Loyal soldiers or sailors would have been fighting in the civil war if the traitors had not started the civil war, so the death, crippling, maiming, and wounding of the men fighting the battles was the fault of the traitors for starting the civil war, ''the villains''! This is so damn basic a fact that ''no one'' should have to say anything about it but I do, because biased, disloyal civil war historians and other people seem to be too damn stupid to realize this damn fact as a damn fact and blame the traitors for all of the deaths of the men who fought on the battlefields of the civil war!!!

What does it take to make people accept the basic damn fact that the traitors villains caused all of the death on the civil war battlefields, not the gallant Army and Navy heros, the victims, who had the civil war forced on them by the killcrazy traitor lunatics who started the civil war to defended slavery???!!!

The purpose of my book is to count and to give a short history of the biggest battles of the American civil war to find out who won the most battles, the Loyalists or the traitors!
The reason I am writing this book is because there is so much claptrap, balderdash, poppycock, hogwash, bilgewater, lies, propaganda, and, pure unadulterated bullshit!!! written about the civil war.
The biggest amount of bullshit written about the civil war is about the traitors who attacked America and tried to secede from the Union By Force Of Arms. Because of the bias, bigotry, and baseness of the disloyal civil war historians, the traitors of the 11 traitor states of the so called ''south'' are portrayed as a group of noble, loving, compassionate, congenial, generous, well-mannered, super brave, super patriots, who lived in a splendid, bucolic, magnolia draped country where black slaves enjoy serving their masters, and where everything is King Cotton, mint juleps, blooded horses, Riding to Hounds, shooting guns, grand living, and where the people go to big parties where they dress up in magnificent costumes and dance the days and nights away. Nothing is farther from the real truth!
During the senseless, bloody, destructive civil war that these same misnamed beautiful people started because Abe Lincoln was elected president, they are portrayed as the best fighters in the whole world, warrior Knights riding against the horrible monsters of the ''noth'', gentlemen soldiers with a Code of Honor and beautiful ladies with a Code of Honor fighting a make-believe hideous person called a ''Damn Yankee'', who has nothing else to do but to destroy the ''south'' for some make-believe stupid reason! These misnamed beautiful ''southern'' gentlemen and ladies never say just what profit, gain, advantage, the hideous ''Damn Yankees'' in the ''noth'' are going to get after they have destroyed the ''south''?!
The biased writers who use the history of the civil war as a theme for their bigoted writings, write about 100 books about the ''south'' to every one written about the ''noth''. The reason for this psychosis is some kind of inborn obsession to write about Lost causes: one of the most senseless, destructive, bloody wars, if not the most destructive, bloody war of the 19th century to defend slavery as if the civil war was not the most destructive and bloody war of the 19th century to defend slavery!
Another reason that so many biased people write so many bigoted books about the pastoral, bucolic, ''south'' is to try to explain why and to justify why those beautiful ''southern'' people turned traitor, attacked their country and their people to protect and defend slavery and to try to steal territory away from America, territory that did not belong to them! American territory belongs to all American equally! After all, Americans would not let some foreign country steal any territory away from America, so why would Americans let some insane, bloodthirsty, demented American minority in the ''south'', steal territory away from America By Force Of Arms? Americans wouldn''t let some foreign enemy steal American territory, so why would Americans let killcrazy, domestic, traitor American enemies steal American territory By Force Of Arms?
