This book is about the various aspects of life in general. Things like the choices we make, getting away, frustration, teamwork, thanking our military, having faith, (the biblical) truth, love, and any other aspect of life.
This is from “Move On”:
You say participate in the game you created.
To promote songs, plays, comedies, dances ...
that ... goes on and on ...
giving lifetime opportunities never imagined.
Those at the end of the rainbow.
Those many dream to see ... to touch ... but never make it.
I move on ... feeling that magical road is not mine
... life ... it goes ... on and on....
She chose to write, and this is her effort.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, a port city on the Gulf of Mexico. She graduated from W. B. Ray High School in 1971 and completed secretarial training at the local junior college. Later she completed primary accounting classes.
She went into accounting in private industry and later in federal civil service. Later she served eleven years as a very competent budget analyst.
During all these years, she got married and had children. Later, after testing, brain surgery for epilepsy was done. She came through it all with flying colors. Later, a form of internal injury occurred, forcing her to retire on disability.
Her writing skills improved over the years as a budget analyst. Writing this was almost a miracle, but somehow she made it. She says, “It takes effort, but she can see over the horizon!” And with that, here is her work! And she is proud of it!
In Peter 4:13-19, it says, “And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? 14 But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. AND DO NOT FEAR THEIR INTIMIDATION, AND DO NOT BE TROUBLED. 15 But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts always being ready to make a defense to every one who asks you to give an account for the hope that it is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; 16 and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. 17 For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for what is wrong. 18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; 19 in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison.”
The Bible says in Romans 12:9, “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.”
And Romans 5:3-4 says, “We also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulations bring about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character, and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
In Romans 12:16-20, it says, “Do not be wise in your own estimation. Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. 19 Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, VENGENCE IS MINE, I WILL REAY, SAYS THE LORD. 20 BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THRISTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK, FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS UPON HIS HEAD. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
And then 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says, “Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Oh be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”
You ask why the biblical verses? There are forms of harassment in my life; they occur both outside and inside my door. So far, local authorities have done nothing to investigate. The harassments have not stopped. They include portrayal of homosexuality. I want the harassment to stop. Homosexuality puts a curse of sin on my remaining life. I want this stopped.
I hope you enjoyed these scriptural passages, traits that we should all follow, along with the Ten Commandments. Along with fantasy, the lyrics that follow can also contain facts. See if you can determine the difference … fantasy or fact … and enjoy your challenge!
Ever feel like someone you are not? Every time she feels she is being harassed, she says it is like fighting a war, her own war. Yet with her disabilities, she cannot serve in the military. It would put her life in extra danger to be without her medication or to be tormented as a prisoner. And she says, “No one understands!” To look at her she looks normal. So, that said, she’s marching as to war, to the beat of a drum with God, the Supreme Being, by her side, telling about her feelings and thoughts, and how she wants equality, peace, and love for all, including our handicapped and our elders.
Where are you in life?
For those who wonder if she exists, well, here she is. This is not how it was originally intended to go, if you talk to her lifetime former love. But because of our world circumstances, this is the way. For any other way puts a threat to either our nation, her family, or herself; and all lives are important, not just hers. So, with that said, she will publish this on her own.
Thanks to the former love of her life, she realized that her thoughts, expressed and perfected, make good lyrics, especially when rhymes occur naturally, with little effort. Slowly, step by step, she has written these lyrics, hoping to publish them.
She says, “Previously, she never considered herself a writer. It takes effort, but she can see over the horizon! And with that, here is her work! And she is proud of it!”
