Katherine Ann Traphagen
Eleven year old Connor refuses to accept his parents' impending divorce. Instead, he boldly takes matters into his own hands by setting up an on-line dating service. To insure that all of their dates will be miserable, he matches up his parents with people causing grief in his own life. If he can discourage them from dating other people, then just maybe, they will give each other another chance.

Katherine Traphagen has written two novels, Anomaly Adventures and Skeletal Scramble, as well as a screenplay, Nice To Meet You.
Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, she lived in Boston, Massachusetts for fifteen years. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1982.
Ms. Traphagen's main career has been Blood Banking. She has also forayed into genealogy, real estate, and tarot card reading.
CONNOR
You have to guess.
BERNIE
I can't guess. I don't have any idea what you're planning.
CONNOR
Try.
BERNIE
Okay... You're going to plug the computer into your parents' brains and program them to date idiots.
CONNOR
Wrong!
BERNIE
You're going to mesmerize them and feed them subliminal messages.
CONNOR
Still wrong.
BERNIE
Then what?
CONNOR
Guess.
BERNIE
I can't guess.
CONNOR
It's easy.
BERNIE
I give up. Come on, show me what you're up to.
Connor unveils the computer screen, and Bernie stares.
CONNOR
Ta Da!
BERNIE
That looks like a website!
CONNOR
It's going to be.
BERNIE
(reads off screen)
Nice To Meet You... Introduction Service?
CONNOR
I'm going to pick nerds for them to date. Want to help?
BERNIE
Yeah, definitely.
