Are you challenging your mind to work faster and comprehend more in a shorter period? Challenge your mind by thinking more about key issues in your life, solving problems or comprehending greater information in a shorter time frame. Just as you exercise your body for strength, tone and flexibility, exercise your mind to increase mental capacity, reading comprehension, writing skills and enhance memory. Tests have time limits, jobs require timely completed projects; we all have deadlines. We need to learn faster to meet our time-constrained learning goals. Do you have the desire to excel in school, compete for enjoyable, high-paying jobs, start a successful business or create more time for your interests or hobbies? We compete throughout the world for resources and jobs. How well you succeed during your lifetime will depend on your motivation to learn and reach your desired goals.

The overall goal of this book is to provide techniques for you to learn more quickly, read faster, increase reading comprehension, improve writing skills and enhance your memory skills. Improving your learning skills can help you in many of your endeavors such as getting better grades or better job performance and gaining more time to do other things such as hobbies, sports or even read more enjoyable books. Ask yourself what you want to learn; what are your specific learning goals? Make your goals accountable, defined, measurable, realistic and relevant with a time limit. For example, in a high school history class you are accountable for your work. The teacher defines the material on the test and measures your performance with a grade. The realistic test will take place. The teacher will test you on the relevant material on a specific date with a maximum time limit. Write down your goals and develop a plan to obtain them using the techniques discussed in this book.
