Zonta Spider
A Collection of Poetry is filled with experiences
of romance, nature and the extra special people
that has given a lifetime of riches by just being
there.
The poem Virtual Flowers most definitely says it
best about family and friends. The poems
about my family is pretty much self-explanatory
whereas there is some dedications. The poem My
Commander in Faith is special also because I feel
that by my testament in writing about where
I stand in faith and work yet to be. Helped express
other feelings in writing A Collection of Poetry.
The acronym FTSMC included in the poem
The PL Level, is about the soldiers and civilians
who worked at the Full-Time Support Management
Center of Saint Louis.
(Cecil F. Ross Jr,)
I was born in Manhattan, New York and
moved to a small country town called
Schaghticoke, in upstate New York in the
early seventies with my parents and
sister. My education was very diverse
with my main concentration being in
Medical Sociology after joining the Army
in which I have enjoyed almost eighteen
years of military experience. My pen
name (Zonta Spider) which I had taken
on a few years ago is also used for my
Musical Compositions as well.
Entertainer of the Gulf
An entertainer of the beach
came by yesterday.
Singing one of those old
classic favorites along the
gulf.
Thus not missing a beat with
the radio.
The Tern's head thrusting back
and forth throughout the whole
performance.
Beak seemly opened and closed
while the Tern did surprisingly
act out in a most expressive
way.
Voice chattering, while standing
in place.
A Winter's Night
On this winter night, I saw
this bright beaming through
the window ever so slightly.
Just a hint of moon's
reflective light.
Moving toward the door
just you and me.
We look out into the
midnight sky.
To a full moon we did look
and glanced at each other
only for a second.
Your hand in mine with,
eyes gazed in amusement.
Our first December Moon
together.
