I am a 66 year old Grandma. I live in the country. One of my cats was named 'Miss Kitty.' She married King Chewah of Afganahound and got the title of Queen. But we still call her 'Miss Kitty.' To date I have written 24 'Miss Kitty' adventures. I have traveled around the world, and many of my books were written at historical sites. I heard many myths from natives in different lands and incorporated them into my books. You will read the stories through the eyes of 'Miss Kitty.' My Granddaughter Jessica illustrated Miss Kitty and other characters at the age of 7 years old. Other illustrations are made by Pat S. Goodrich. Thanks for her artistic talents.
I started writing 'Miss Kitty' adventures because there was so much violence in the children's programs I wanted parents and Grandparents to have an alternative for their children and Grandchildren.
I have had injuries to my hands and back so I put my stories on tape and had them transcribed and edited by Dar Mikula. Many thanks Dar.
If you have read any of my Miss Kitty adventures, you will know I have written some of my books in foreign lands. The wonders of the world are breathtaking, and give me so much inspiration to write. I do a lot of taping and picture taking to help.
ASTROLOGICAL SIGNS OF MISS KITTY'S FRIENDS
This story is about Miss Kitty and the farm pets, and their astrological signs. Miss Kitty hired an astrologer to look into the signs of the animals to try and help her make the right choice for a mate.
The name of the astrologer is Madam Lazanga. Miss Kitty called Madam Lazanga on the phone and made an appointment. Madam Lazanga came over to the castle with all of her astrology books and told Miss Kitty she would spend a weekend there and research the signs of all the pets to see if she could help her make a decision.
The twelve signs of the Zodiac are as follows:
1. Aries
2. Taurus
3. Gemini
4. Cancer
5. Leo
6. Virgo
7. Libra
8. Scorpio
9. Sagittarius
10. Capricorn
11. Aquarius
12. Pisces Miss Kitty said, 'Madam Lazanga, can you explain the Zodiac to me. I don't know anything about the planets.'
Madam Lazanga said, 'There are twelve signs in the Zodiac starting with Aries and ending with Pisces.
'When you are determining your Zodiac sign, you must know the month and date of birth, which gives you the 'sun' sign. The day tells you the 'moon' in your chart. Knowing the time of birth will give you the 'rising' sign, and the year of birth tells you what planets were in your chart the year you were born. Everyone has all these plants, and they are as follows: Sun, Moon, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and Mercury. We all have these positions in our individual astrological charts. No two people are alike. The different planets change each person's character.
'Miss Kitty, do you understand all this?' Madam Lazanga asked.
'I think so,' said Miss Kitty, 'I might understand better as we go along.'
