About the Book

If you know anything about unshakable faith, supernatural faith, faith that knows no boundaries, faith against all odds, faith that pushes you beyond anything normal, faith that makes you do things that have never been done before, then you know something about me. If you are not familiar with this kind of faith, I assure you that before you finish reading this book, you will relate to it because you have it in you, but you have been suppressing it because of people’s opinions and fear of the unknown. I, on the contrary, have been running away from most things people would run to. I have left certainty for uncertainty so many times. Something was wrong with me big-time (you may say). By the age of ten, I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up: a doctor or a lawyer, because I loved and cared about people. Something happened and my world came crashing down on me and I got lost and confused in the crowd, but Father God had planted a precious seed in me and I refused to let anything or anybody take that away from me. I paid very high prices for my stubbornness. I lost my daughter, my son got messed up by drugs, and I almost lost my life. Domestic violence and abusive relationships were the big issues in my life. I refused to compromise and give in to them. When I couldn’t handle running from one abusive relationship to another anymore,........

MY FAITH HAS NEVER BEEN ABOUT WHAT I BELIEVE GOD FOR, MY FAITH HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT WHO I BELIEVE GOD IS.

- Queen Juliet El Shaddai

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in Heaven.

(Matthew 10:32 NKJV).

Does it really matter where we come from?

"My dad changed and he became a monster to me. I would jump and start shaking like a leaf; my heart would start pounding and I would think it was in my mouth. Fear took over my whole being, and all I wanted to do was disappear into thin air!"

                        Introduction

Does it really matter where we come from? Maybe it does; depending on what we are referring to. It could be the continent, the country, our ancestors, our parents, our grandparents, our adopted parents, the relatives who brought us up, or the environment we grew up in. Wherever, whatever, or whomever we came from doesn’t really matter. Whether we are white, black, mixed, or grey, doesn’t matter either. What really matters is to know who we are, whose we are, and what God created us for. And obeying His commandments, treating each other with respect, kindness and fairness; and doing what is right such as loving, serving, praying, worshiping, thanking, and praising God’s name as much as we can! God and what He created us for are what really matters. He created us in His image and likeness for His purposes alone. He is our heavenly Father and He loves all of us unconditionally. God is no respecter of persons, because we are all the same in His eyes, and we are all His children. So why should it matter to us what the color of our skin is or what part of the world we came from? We will never understand everything about God, because His ways are higher than our ways. But everything and everybody He created has a purpose here on earth. We are all here for specific reasons and to make a positive difference in somebody else’s life. Nobody is here by accident because we all originally came from God, and accidents don’t happen where God is concerned. It doesn’t matter whether you are poor, rich, old, young, ugly, or beautiful. We all have different personalities, because we are here to complete each other and not to compete against each other. And when we complete each other, that is what makes us one, because together we are “one” made in the image of Almighty God. Nobody’s life is better than another’s. God gave us everything as well as the ability to know the difference between good and evil. It is up to us to choose and whatever we choose; we are responsible at the end of the day for the outcome. We learn from our mistakes and start all over. So don’t ever give up, because somehow we all contribute to our destiny. Sometimes when good things happen, we take it all for granted. When bad things happen, we blame God and wonder if He really exist. ........
