Hmmm…where do I begin?  Shall I start with the bullshit that occurs when you try to make life for yourself or shall I began with the crabs, leaches, and haters of how everyone comes out the woodwork when they see you trying to do something positive by scheming plans of jumping on the bandwagon?  You would be surprised at how many “friends” you have when your “on top,” according to them, and what makes it even worse, is that your not even where you want to be in life as far as financially, emotionally, and having stability in all aspects of life, but that’s not what they see.  What they see is that your doing more than they are and they want a piece of the pie or just the whole damn thing.  With them being on the outside looking in, it looks to them that your doing better than they are, so they think of ways of getting in to take away what you have and if you don’t have a strong enough foundation, you help them to destroy what you put together with your blood, sweat, and tears in reference to business, as well as your home life.

Being in the business of poetry, and yes, I do call it a business; I have learned that trusting people doesn’t exist.  Hell, just living life, trusting people doesn't exist.  I never realized how dirty the business was and could be in dealing with people.  The deeper it gets, the dirtier it gets, and the grimier the people are.
