This is a story about 3 different characters who all experience prejudice on many levels. They then met on common ground and became the best of friends and formed a family among themselves.
This true story depicts the fact that there are no natural enemies and if you have love and an open mind to other cultures, hate and prejudice can be a thing of the past.
Bonnie was born and reared in York, Penn. As an only child, who was 6 foot tall and knew prejudice since she was different.
Anyone different is always judged on their appearance. She maintained the Peter Pan theory and never grew up – drives a Herbie love bug, goes sledding and loves 50’s & 60’s music – She lives in the house where she celebrated her 1st B-Day. She lives in her own time – warp and has many friends who themselves are very different, and all have bonded into their own family as in the story-

Hi, my name is Hector Grasse. I’m a groundhog and this is a true story about my 3 buddies, who by society should not have become friends. My family moved from many neighborhoods because of too many prejudices.
No one, while I was growing up left my family let us live in peace.
One day when I grew up, I wondered into the backyard of what turned out to be a nice human couple who let me live under their shed under a big maple tree.
They didn’t mind that I had to dig a large hole under the shed so that I could have a front door. A day later I got to meet their cat, Cheswicket McCat. I was worried about meeting since he was Irish and I was Jewish, we were so different in our appearance and religion.
