Masters in Organization Communication and former executive with a telecommunication firm. Professor Hoagland holds a Masters of Science from Virginia Tech's Horticulture program. He currently teaches entry level botany and Ornamental Horticulture at Christopher Newport University, Newport News, VA. and is a Master Gardener in Southeastern Virginia.
