Paul is a 10 year old boy living on a farm in Wales. When a door suddenly appears in his bedroom, he walks through and is mysteriously transported into a world 1,000 years in the future. Before he can return to his home he has to fulfil a quest to rescue prisoners being held by the evil lord Elevion. He receives some help from a new friend, a talking horse and a magnificent eagle.
Dawn Davies lived for many years in Wales before moving to North London. She is married and has three children. As well as writing stories she has written many poems which have been published in various anthologies. When she is not writing she teaches at a nearby primary school and enjoys walking along The Grand Union Canal.
