Megan was consumed with embarrassment for her volatile behavior as she sought out Drake and Rebecca to apologize. Drake sent Megan to a local caf where he knew she would find Rebecca. Their meeting was intense and electrifying as the passionate chemistry flowed between them.

As their relationship slowly unfolded, Megan paid a surprise visit to Rebecca in her beautifully remodeled office. She ran into a very strange, eerie client of Rebecca s by the name of Sam Abbott. About the Author

My name is Ana and I have been a nurse for sixteen years. Twelve of those years have been spent working in intensive care units. My nursing experience is the backdrop of my story. Nursing is a career that envelops a multitude of skills and emotions. Throughout the years I have been blessed with caring for patients that have taught me the lessons of patience, human kindness, humility, modesty, suffering, self sacrifice, love and the powerful language of human touch.

My partner of nine years and I love to travel and share new experiences. January 1995, we packed our bags and signed on with a travel-nursing agency and have worked in Florida, Texas, California and now Arizona. We have enjoyed some of the most beautiful sights and experiences that these states have to offer.

My passion for travel equals my passion to create love stories. My partner s unconditional love and undying encouragement inspired me to put pen to paper and thus my story danced across the screen of my computer. At times like a chaotic screen saver and finally like the movie in my mind.

I have been fortunate enough to experience the beauty of love between women. It is that depth of commitment and passion that resounds throughout my book and my life.

When your mind is relaxed and at ease, put your feet up and crack open the front cover. I hope you enjoy reading my book as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Sincerely;
Ana P. Corman

Megan walked into the Java Cafe and was surprised at how busy it was at four o'clock in the afternoon. She stepped inside the doorway and was blanketed by the rich aroma of fresh coffee. Megan scanned the crowded tables and suddenly felt her heart race as she saw her. Rebecca was sitting at a table alone, deeply engrossed in writing notes on a legal pad of paper with a gold fountain pen. Her thick, rich, brown hair flowed beautifully beyond her shoulders, delicate beneath her cream silk blouse. Megan watched her as Rebecca set down her pen and removed her glasses. She was about to sip her coffee when their eyes met, communicating a profound intensity that sent both their pulses racing. Megan felt an incredible heat coursing through her veins as she smiled and struggled to regain her composure. She finally took a deep breath and headed toward the counter to order herself an iced mocha.

As she raised her coffee cup to her lips, Rebecca's eyes were riveted on Megan. She inhaled the rich, freshly ground aroma of the hot coffee and watched the tall, elegant woman standing with her back to her, awaiting her coffee. Rebecca admired her long, thick wavy brown hair, her sensual essence. Rebecca's eyes roamed freely over the rich, gray suede jacket that accentuated Megan's slender, athletic frame, and the black dress slacks that hinted at endless shapely legs. Rebecca took another sip of her strong coffee as she continued to watch Megan's every movement. Megan paid for her coffee and walked toward the counter of creams and sugars to search for a napkin. Megan stopped as she heard a sultry voice over her shoulder.

'Are you looking for these?' Megan turned as Rebecca offered her several napkins. Their eyes met with instant warmth and intrigue.

'Yes, I am. So you're the napkin thief around here,' Megan accused playfully.

Both women smiled as Rebecca crossed her arms across her chest and leaned her hip against the counter. 'Yes, I am. But I thought I'd better confess my sin and share some with you before you have another temper tantrum on me. I don't think I can handle that twice in one day,' Rebecca stated strongly.

Megan looked down at her iced mocha and blushed a deep crimson red, embarrassed by her behavior earlier.

Rebecca inhaled sharply as she marveled at this woman's sensitivity and shyness.

Megan took a deep breath and looked into Rebecca's golden amber eyes. 'I'm sorry about my temper tantrum this morning. I behaved pretty badly and the look in your eyes told me how unimpressed you were.'

Rebecca forced herself to breathe as she thought; this gorgeous woman has no idea how impressed I truly am. Lost in Megan's beautiful green eyes, Rebecca reached forward and touched Megan's elbow, sending searing heat cascading through her entire being.

'There's nothing that impresses me more than hearing a woman voice her concerns and stand up for herself and what she believes in. I was unimpressed, Dr. Summers, because you would not shut up long enough for me to introduce myself.' Megan laughed softly as Rebecca extended her hand. 'Hi. I'm Rebecca Rhodes, and it's a pleasure to see you in a much friendlier mood.'

Megan was floating in the warm pools of Rebecca's eyes as she luxuriated in the intense contact of her soft hand. Megan's smile danced across her eyes and warmed Rebecca's heart as she shook her hand firmly.
