Lennette Marie Moore
This book was written to inspire, encourage, and uplift the spirits of children across America, who battle with the challenges of living peaceful, successful, and productive lives, in the absences of, or unfortunate life sacrifices of their parents, family members, or friends as a result of military deployment.
It can be very difficult for children to comprehend the importance, necessity, and seriousness of military deployment. After reading this book, it is my prayer that children begin to experience inner healing, recognize that they are not alone in the fight, and begin utilizing support systems that have been set in place to assist them, during one of the most trying times in our history.
Lennette Moore is a 7th Grade Language Arts teacher in College Park, Georgia. Lennette was inspired to write this book, after serving as a care-giver to a child whose father courageously fought in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
