Douglas M. Vincent was born in Washington, DC and attended the University of the District of Columbia. After finding God in a time of personal chaos, Vincent dedicated his life to helping hurt and lost souls find their way to God. His desire is to direct them towards the Word, so that they will be more equipped to walk in God’s plan for their lives. Vincent believes a vigorous study of the Gospel of Christ lays the groundwork for becoming an effective and mature Christian. He uses this workbook in ministering to those who want to establish a firm foundation in the Word of God. His desire is that Achieving Intimacy With Jesus Christ will be a blessing to all who seek a closer relationship with the Savior.
Judith E. Simms, a native of Washington D.C., is a minister and teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Minister Simms received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and has served in several capacities within the body of Christ. Her passion, however, lies in ministering to youth and young adults. Her firm belief that we must seek God daily for knowledge, understanding and wisdom, is what prompted her collaboration on Achieving Intimacy With Jesus Christ. Minister Simms has learned the importance of turning first to the one who guides and directs our paths. She also believes that the key to a stronger relationship with Christ begins with a fervent study of the Word of God. Minister Simms is often asked “How do you really get to know Jesus Christ?” She often responds, “Well, to know Him is to know His Word. Plain and simple.”
