Dr. Bruno Caporrimo was born in Palermo, Sicily. He is the youngest of seven. During WWII his family lost everything and they immigrated to the United States when he was fifteen years old. Within two years tragedy struck again and both of his parents died. At the age of 43, after experiencing more unhappiness and tragedy, he cried out to the Lord. God heard his cries and opened the door to eternal life. He gave Bruno a spiritual anointing and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
More than twenty years have gone by and Dr. Bruno has accomplished many of his dreams and the Lord has given him new vision. He is the founder of Everlasting CHIP Ministry Discipleship and Training Center, an international ministry birthed out of his prayers and desire to win the lost and restore the modern church. He has authored eleven inspirational books and has worked with many prominent ministries throughout Asia and Italy. He spends most of his time in Asia and the United States, conducting seminars and Evangelistic meetings. His vision is to disciple and train God’s spiritual army in Biblical Theology. When he is not traveling he resides in Anaheim, Ca. with his wife Lydia.
Any born again believer can manifest the gifts of the Spirit. Anyone in Christ can manifest any or all of the gifts. Every believer has an open invitation to be involved in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:17
In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy...
1 Corinthians 14:31
For you can all prophesy...that all may learn and all may be encouraged.
1 Corinthians 14:5
I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied...
Numbers 11:29 NIV
I wish that all the Lord's people were prophets...
1 Corinthians 14:1
...desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
The gifts of the Spirit are simply expressions of God's grace. Charisma means "grace at work by the Spirit", or "an inspiring work of the Spirit of Grace, a display of divine favor."
These gifts, or charismas, are God's endowments upon believers by the operation of the Holy Spirit. These graces are unearned, unmerited manifestations of the life of the Holy Spirit. This life can be expressed in prophecy, a word of knowledge, tongues, healings, and other manifestations of the Holy Spirit. According to Romans 5:17, we have all received this grace in abundance.
These gifts or graces of the life of the Spirit are tools that enable us to reign in life. Clothed in the righteousness of Jesus and equipped with the provisions He has made available for us in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we can overcome any problem. The best gift to build us up and give us the ability to take our authority in Christ is prophecy. (See 1 Corinthians 14).
It is commonly but erroneously taught that the gifts are given only to a few. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit has been given to all believers. He then manifests Himself in nine charismas (gifts). All nine gifts can be manifested in any believer as the need arises. The believer is simply a channel for the Holy Spirit.
