This doesn’t mean that you need to become best friends with them before they purchase; it simply means that they need to respect and trust your judgment and guidance.  Building rapport and common ground needs to be your first goal, so please do not jump immediately into trying to sell them a home.

 

We as sales people already have a poor reputation in the world as slimy pushy people that do not care about are clients well being.  The best way to take the edge off in your first encounter with a new prospect is to get them to view you as a warm welcoming consultant that wants to help them purchase a new home......
