About the Book

There’s a lot of buzz these days about manifesting… how to do it, when to do it, who can do it… but manifesting our desires really isn’t such a new idea. Some people have been doing it for years. The stories in this book will help you see it CAN be done and believe that YOU can do it.

Butterflies and Dreams

Manifesting Your Heart’s Desire

I was taken by surprise when a friend told me that I am a master at manifesting, and it was some time before I allowed myself to accept this as a true statement.

When I look back over my experiences in recent years, I am astounded to realize that I have intentionally created wonderful results in so many areas.  I have met and married my soulmate, relocated to sunny Florida, and eliminated a mountain of debt.  As I write this book, I am fulfilling yet another dream – to share with others this wondrous ability we all have to consciously create our life experience.

My intention for writing Butterflies and Dreams is that you will see yourself in one of the stories and decide that it is possible for you to follow your heart and, with unbending intention, create a life that you love.

This book contains stories about manifesting drawn from my own experience, as well as tales from others about wonderful achievements in their lives. These stories address many aspects of life, including relationships, finances, fulfilling dreams, and facing life challenges. I hope that as you read this book, you will find a story or an idea that will set in motion your innate ability to manifest your heart’s desires.

The final chapter is dedicated to the actual Process of Manifestation.

Storybook 3:

Manifesting A Career

Do you love your work? Is it rewarding? Are you receiving the salary you desire? If your answer to these questions is “no,” you may be ready for a change. The process of manifestation can support you in your quest. Begin by setting an intention; next, see yourself in your new job; and then take action to achieve your vision. Just as the butterfly develops by eating, growing, resting and molting, we, too, move from one experience to the next as our life unfolds…

                                         My Career in Medical Records

by Dorothy Peltier-Fanchi

In 1996, I started a new career in medical records. This unexpected opportunity presented itself in an unusual way. At the time I was working as the office manager for the executives of a large health care corporation in St. Louis. The task before me was to schedule interviews for the position of Medical Records Coordinator. This position had been open for several weeks and still had not been filled. While I found my work as office manager fulfilling, I was ready for a change. I had been thinking about what career would use my skills and give me a renewed sense of joy and accomplishment in my work.

On this particular morning, a new thought came to me: “Would I like the medical records job for myself?” Something inside me got excited. I decided to ask about the responsibilities of a medical records coordinator, the salary and what new opportunities might open up if I applied for this position. Every answer confirmed for me that this was the right next step for me to take. I accepted a generous offer and started my career in Medical Records…
