Pamela Thompson
My book is based on the World War 2, and covering the last days
Of World War 1,
Also the events of my family, friends, and customers who came in the shop during this time.
It covers true stories which come from people’s experiences, events and reports
Of the time.
Approx two thirds of the content covers WW2, before, during, after and
The aftermath.
The last third gives an account of the characters in the book.
What happened to them and a general account of how they coped?
With the aftermath. Every statement in this book is true and honest.
Also the ending of life to the main participants, such as
Goring, Hess, Ribbentrop, Spear, Goebels, Eichmann, Himmler,
And Lord HAW.HAW.
I have no credentials as an Author, only life experiences from 1937 to 2007
These stories are true events and stories of real people pre-war, during
The war and post-war.
Some are very sad, and some amusing, all are true accounts.
My family and friends are also included in this book, especially the last third.
They say that everybody has a book in them waiting to be written, from my
Perspective this is true. This is my first book, if anyone had told me six months
Ago I would write a book I would have thought they were crackers.
At the age of 70 you would expect somebody to write their last book not
The first. If you are reading this and you fancy writing your first book have
A go. It keeps your brain alive and things that have been stored in the recesses
Of your mind come back to you very clear. I have enjoyed writing this book, I’m not
To sure my hubby has, to many late meals, a lot of shushes, and I wont be a
Minute.
OH and one more thing get your self an understanding publisher like I have.
It had been reported that Hitler and Eva Brawne had committed suicide. This was now in question. It was thought that they had both escaped to Brazil or Argentina.
When The Russian Army occupied Berlin, none of our Allies were there. When they did arrive they were told. The Russian Army had found both Hitler and Brawne outside the Bunker.
They had both been burned by his staff in an attempt to save them from Public scorn. The Russians who found them buried them. This still did not stop the story they had escaped.
It was not until 1991 when the Communist Party was over thrown that the truth was known.
The State Museum Archives in Moscow had a new Director, The Museum was full of State secrets which up to 1991 had been locked away in an underground vault with no entry for anybody on the orders of Stalin.
The new Director opened the archive, what he found confirmed to him that Hitler was dead.
