A Gracious Woman of God

My Mother a gracious Lady, though courageous and strong willed, sometimes her spirit falls low because of the heavy burdens she has carried upon her shoulders, throughout the years.

The lost of her Father, Mother and only Sister and Brother who both died at an early age with cancer. My Mother supported them in every way possible, and gracefully she gave of herself without hesitation or without ever expecting anything in return.

As my Mother looked death in the eyes, time after time, how fate and my Mother fought.

No more! No more ! she cried...

Death will not win this battle, and my grief I shall toss amongst the cloud of banners. No more broken vessels will I put together, and no more pain and sorrow will I swallow in this life.

Oh Lord, how humble my Mother has carried the cross, during her most difficult times. Her trust and faith in you she has held firm and tight, with all her might.

Her loyalty, strength and love, I adore as her daughter, and I'm proud to call this divine Woman of grace my Mother.

Oh Mother, my gracious Lady. Your soul is rich as polished silver. Your heart more precious than gold. It makes me smile to see God's glory shining in you, like amber upon a flame, that brings light into a darkened soul.

The golden rules of life that you have taught me through out the years, I will always cherish.

Thank you for all the many sacrifices that you make, and for the tedious prayers that you send up to Heaven on my behalf.

Thank you for the many tears that you continue to wipe from many miles away, and most of all, thank you for loving me beyond measure Mother.

My gracious Lady, I love you for your dedication as a Mother, and for the spiritual inheritance that you have given to me and my Sisters, that's worth more than any financial wealth,

What a precious treasure you are from Heaven and more, my gracious Woman of God.

Mothers Don't Owe You a Thing

I've learned throughout the years that a child should stay in a child's place.

Whenever I hear a child tell their Mother that she owes them something, it really burnes me with a serious passion. Who do you think you are?

Guess what, there's nothing worse than a Mother scorned by the hands of her own child. We must remember that she is the Mother and you are the child, no matter how old you are, and always remember that it's just the opposite, you owe Mother something, Mother doesn't owe you a thing.

Take a moment to reflect, Who gave you life?  Who beared the hard labor pains for hours?  Who wiped the tears from your tired and weeping eyes?  Who held your heart in the palm of their hands, to protect it from being broken?

Who carried the cross that you were to weak to carry? So understand this my friends a Mothers job is never done, because she's still pacing the floors at night and interceding on your behalf.

Her love and compassion stretches many miles and climbs the highest mountains to get to where you are. Like and eagle her spirit soars to touch your weary heart.  Her love and understanding brings you out of the low valley and to higher and level ground again.

For all her many sacrifices you owe her. You owe her for all the times that she went without to make sure you had all the necessities in life. You owe her for all the times that you were to ignorant, stupid or just too damn inconsiderate to care.

You owe your Mother nothing but the best love and devotion that a child could give with the highest respect. Most of all you owe her just because she's your Mother.

Learn to enjoy, love and care for the beautiful gift that God has blessed you with, because there's nothing more precious in this world than your Mother.

I give my Mother her flowers now while she's living so she can smell the wonderful fragrance and enjoy the beauty of them.

I tell her every day how much I love and appreciate her as my Mother, and I go beyond and above the call of duty as a daughter, because she has done more than her part.

Wake up and smell the coffee, and handle your business today, because tomorrow might be to late. God only promised us one day at a time, and you don't want to wake up in the morning to nothing but heartache and regrets.
