This book encourages children as well as adults to understand the importance of daily exercise, good eating, and learning habits. Read how a role model teacher instilled these principles. A good book to be read aloud, it includes inspiring ideas and supportive activities.

Miss Walker was a very good role model. Another great thing she taught our sixth grade class was the importance of physical fitness. We learned daily exercise is very important in helping us feel better, look better, and think better.
Well, we didn't just talk about ways to keep fit, Miss Walker showed us!
Each day before free recess we would form a group outside in the same order that we were seated in the classroom. "Stand two arm lengths apart and we're ready to begin" Miss Walker would say.
