Kreasy had always thought he was just like everyone else. He was just a fur-person. He was about to find out that he was not like everyone else and for some reason that made a difference.

A life time resident of Louisiana that couldn't imagine living anywhere else in this world. My love of Louisiana, children, and animals could not possibly be put into words. A wonderful place to visit and even more wonderful place to live within. The people, food, fesivals, fun and life style could be considered (at least by me!) the best that life has to offer. As a first time author I felt that I should share the goodness of this state even after a tragedy. I hope this book brings joy to many parents and children. It certainly has to family and friends.
Miss Katrina had never been to visit before. Even Kreasy's cousins had never met her. She must be very nice because her name was in the newspaper and on the television. Something just didn't seem right because Mother and Meme were talking about leaving. Every thing started to change when we put things in our truck to leave. Why would anyone have to leave their home just because Miss Katrina was coming to visit? Even Auntie Nana and Uncle Mike are leaving. This just can't be right..... I don't know what is going on but I will figure this out in a little while.
It seems to be raining very hard and the wind is really blowing. Sometimes my Mother says the funniest things. She will say that it is raining cats and dogs... that is so funny to me. Mother and Meme are concerned. I will think about this for a while longer.
