Foreword
I believe in intuition, and through the medium of intuition I notice signs. I know when something presents more than once that I am meant to pay attention. I believe that intuition is nothing more than my angels guiding me toward my path. This is the way I choose to lead my life; I trust it like the air I breathe!
Something led you to pick up this book, or perhaps this book chose you. Maybe you heard of it in passing and really did not pay too much attention. But then you heard of it again and your senses heightened. The third time you felt compelled to pay attention and finally bought the book yourself, or perhaps someone bought it for you.
You open the book, begin to read, some of the words make sense and begin to resonate. As you begin to read more and immerse yourself in the pages, you find you can identify with the subject matter.
Over the course of many years I focused in prayer on the right people to present in my life, so I could reach the masses to spread the message of my work on pain.
Two years ago, I was working a lot of large-scale doctor conferences at McCormick Place in Chicago. Over a period of two weeks, five doctors out of the sixty I worked on suggested I write a book to educate people about chronic pain.
During that two week period at a doctor’s office I met the sixth, Paula. She is a brilliant marketing person who works for a large advertising agency. I laid my hands on her and began to work. After a short period of time, as I was educating her on some of what is now in this book, she picked her head up from the face cradle to ask a question. “What do you want from your career, because I have never had anyone work on or educate me like this?”
I proceeded to share my vision with her. She said, “Well, all you need is a book!”
I always knew that, but the book I had in mind would involve my trials on my Spencer Relief Technique, which was nowhere near ready for release.
“Just write about what you educate your clients. That is your book. But, have it be a quick read, as your audience is business professionals,” she said.
And thus, 7 Best Kept Secrets to Painless Aging was born. And through the grace of Paula, who became my publicist, and resigned to help at beyond a reasonable rate, my wish to reach the masses will find its way. I trust.
