Welcome to, It’s Just Good Teaching! We hope you can tell by the title that this book is designed for you, by teachers who believe in a fun, exciting, and timeless approach to learning. All of the activities in this book have been inspired by a compilation of ideas submitted by various teachers from all across the U.S.A.. We have taken these ideas and designed activities that are teacher-friendly as well as easily adaptable for any lesson plan format. (You know – just the way your supervisor likes it!)
The book has a few key features that will allow you to navigate through it with comfort and ease. What more could any teacher want?
For our visual learners, we have used certain symbols in the top, right corners of each page letting you know which curricular area(s) the activity is designed for.
On the bottom of each page you will also find teacher talk.
What is Teacher Talk, you ask? Well, basically it’s our way of talking to you in a more informal way – as if we were in the teacher’s lounge. You will get to see a bit of our personalities come out in this section. It’s a down-to-earth, real life explanation of how to individualize, enrich, remediate, and/or customize the activities to meet the needs of your particular students.
Our suggestions have been applied in our classrooms and ones that we have found to make each activity a huge success.
