Barbara Hickey
As a U.S. Army wife for over 27 years, Barbara Hickey was involved in helping family members to recognize their strengths and polish their skills for personal development.
While stationed in Washington, D.C., Barbara was a consultant at NASA Headquarters working with clients to improve their personal effectiveness, communication skills, conflict resolution, and to implement individual development plans.
Trained by Dorothea Johnson, founder of The Protocol School of Washington, Barbara established The Etiquette School of Atlanta in 2001 with husband Jim, and son and daughter-in law, Sean and Cecilia Rowe.
With programs for children that take them from Making a Good First Impression to a Dining Tutorial, and courses for Life Skills and Study Skills, the Etiquette School of Atlanta is dedicated to helping children to “bring out all the best that is in them.”
Barbara has a Master of Public Administration and a BA in Political Science.
