About the Author
I love animals and the outdoors. Anything outside like hiking, swimming, gardening. Sam I Am A Heaven Sent Dog is a book of love. He showed so much love to everyone he met, and he just loved life to the fullest even with the physical problems he had. I could hear him talking to me and so I wrote the words I imagine him saying if he spoke our language. He showed me another side of myself that I didn't know about.

                                  My New Home

Hi, my name is Sam I Am. My Mom,"said" that I was heaven sent. She,"said" I have so much love to give and I do not let my disability hold me down. See I was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around my front leg. This caused my leg not to develop normally. The place where I was born, the people wre, told to send me to heaven, but she saw something in my face, she saw love. She called my Mom's friend and told her about me, and asked her if she new anyone that would take such a dog on. My Mom's friend told her I sure do, and I will call you back. Well she called my Mom and my Mom asked , could she check me out the next day, Sunday. They, "said" that was fine. Mom came down and she has told everyone about this story, of how in the middle of these eleven puppies, this one face popped out at her. She, "said" she hoped that was the one and the puppies parted and there I was the face that popped out at her. They took me out of the pen and she held me, kissedme, and hugged me. Then she flipped me over to see if I was aggressive and held my chest. Well I took my front legs and held her hand down. It was love at first sight for both of us. She looked at my owner and "said," "I'll take him. Do I have to wait until next week? She "said" no he could go today if you want. Of course, Mom said today would be great!

Well it was along, ride but when we finally got to my new home, Mom's house there I met my new Dad, and sister Brittany (Golden Retriever) and brother Jake (Husky-Sheperd mix). Brittany liked me but Jake did not. He just did not like puppies. I also had one of my litter brothers living where my Dad docked his boat.It was real close so we could see each other alot. We would meet his mom and him and go for walks or he would come over to my house and we would play or at his house, we played, with his sister Pogo (A small Doggie). She was no bigger than my head maybe a little. He moved when we were three years old.
