Exploring the lives of women during the Second World War has been the focus of Betty J. Iverson's writing. Her goal is to publish these true stories of women before their legacy is lost. Her first book, TABEA'S STORY, published in 2003, heightened her interest and research. She soon met four unique women and her second book, A TIME TO FLEE was published in 2004. And now, Iverson is happy to publish her third book, JOURNEYS TO SURVIVAL, three stories which show how lives and homelands are shattered by invasion. While living in Monterey, she wrote a series of helth articles which was published in the Monterey Peninsula Herald. She has the uncanny ability to sense a story and the interviewing skills to unearth amazing events. Iverson is an active member of the California Writers' Club, and is a Registered Nurse with a B.S. degree in Health Science. She lives in Moraga, California with her husband, Ted.
