About the Book

Are you a Christian?  Your answer may be "yes, I believe in God and I go to church."  That used to be my answer until I realized there was more to God than just believing He existed.  I found out God loved me and had a great plan for my life.  I found out that He had an instruction manual called "The Bible".  This amazing book has been around for centuries and I didn't know that inside the covers of it were the secrets to life.  I was almost "destroyed for lack of knowledge".  I realized that God was my "Heavenly Father" and had a way I was to live my life.  These simple truths of God's Word have changed my life and I will never be the same.  Find out in this book what God expects and see how you can become better which in turn will make our country and world a better place.

Do you believe in God?  Do you believe that He created the Universe and created you?  That is your first step.  I cannot convince you by preaching to you or persuading you.  You will know it deep down in your heart.  Hebrews 11:6 says, "For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him."

Maybe you've been influenced by a friend who says, "I believe in some kind of god but I'm not really sure".  Maybe you have been exposed to what I called "Jesus freaks".  A "Jesus freak" to me was someone who was overly "religious".  I was turned off by those kind of people because they came on so strong about God.  I felt uncomfortable because they were forcing their "religion" on me.  It's hard to explain and I'm sure some of you can relate.  Maybe your brother has joined  a multi-level marketing company and he wants you to buy his product.  You get turned off.  People can misunderstand God and get turned off as well and say, "God has too many rules".

How many times do I have to say "people are destroyed for lack of knowledge"?  I've been around people who were overly "religious" or looked down at me because I wasn't living the "godly" perfect life that they thought they were living.  We get the idea that God is "no fun".  Let me tell you God is fun and He is positive and wants us to have a good life.  We need to get to know Him.
