Summary: “School: a little story about life and

                           education”

The story begins in Montreal, Canada in the late 60’s. There is one main character: Gabriel, two secondary characters: Evelyn and John, and 23 other secondary personages in this romantic tale about life and education.

Gabriel was about 11 years old at the beginning of the book, and near 30 at the end of it. He is growing through the Education system but also through life’s experiences and the discovery of wonderful Nature, especially the mountains which give him inspiration. Raised in the Catholic tradition especially in private schools, he realized that faith is also a matter of the heart.

The book itself is especially dedicated to teenagers.  The hardest part is that they are also changing physically and a great energy is pushing them forward.  This is why they have to think more and use as much knowledge as they have while also putting their energy into physical activities such as sports and arts. They have to be moral, to have good conduct, to respect one and another, to love and to be loved, man or woman. Together, they learn to become adult, responsible, with hope for a brighter future. They must be motivated, disciplined, studied, learned, but they need to know that when required, help is always there. Help comes from those who have more knowledge, more wisdom, more experience as parents, family relatives, teachers, and from good books. “School: a little story about life and education” as the title says, is just a little story.

You also have your own story, so make the best of it with God's help who comes to you through the spirit, through Nature and through willing people around you.

Good luck and success in all your endeavors.
