The Forest of Creation is a story about three young girls that suddenly find themselves on a magical adventure. Transported by a magic tree portal, Faith, Amy, and Izzy find themselves on the adventure they've always dreamed of.  Along the way, they make new friends, and meet interesting mythical creatures. The story unveils what the Forest of Creation is and teaches a lesson in how three young innocent girls can be helpful to a culture in need of their help.  
About the Author
Faith Shaw is probably one of the youngest authors to write a children’s book. As a toddler Faith always had an interest in books.  As parents we read to her constantly.  Faith began to really read on her own when she was about 4 years old.  Faith actually wrote her first book when she was 6 years old.  A student teacher that lived in the neighborhood asked if she could work with Faith as part of an internship for one of her classes. During their encounter the student teacher worked with Faith to develop a very short book that Faith wanted to write.  Faith told her first grade teacher about the book that she had written with the student teacher and Faith's first grade teacher encouraged her to share the book with her first grade classmates. After Faith left the first grade, her first grade teacher continued to encourage her to write short stories that she could read to her class.   When Faith would complete a story, she'd give it to her first grade teacher to read to her class. This year when Faith entered the fourth grade she had set her mind on writing a very creative story for the first grade kids to enjoy.  As a result, she wrote the Forest of Creation. The two other girls in the book are actually Faith’s friends from her fourth grade class.  As a parent when I recognized what Faith was developing, I encouraged her to write her book with the promise of getting it published.
