Royalty's Ruin is a mythical story about the royal family - Queen Cassiopeia, King Cepheus, and Princess Andromeda. Cassiopeia is a very powerful but vain ruler. She offends others with her conceit. To make amends, she has to sacrifice her only daughter, Andromeda. Perseus, on Pegasus, flies by and rescues Andromeda.
Lucinda Mitchell is a 6th grade teacher in Michigan. She lives in a small, rural community. She teaches science and language arts. Lucinda is the wife of her high school sweetheart, the mother of 3 sons, and the grandmother of 2. Among her hobbies are reading, writing, traveling, and knitting blankets for Project Linus. Her family owns land in the thumb of Michigan where they like to ride the trails.
As a young woman she was very popular. Other young women wanted to be like her because she was both smart and beautiful. Young men sought her company because she was witty and fun. Older people were impressed by her knowledge and wisdom. She was kind to others and a friend to all. In addition she was of royal blood, wealthy beyond belief and destined to marry a king. Her name was Princess Cassiopeia.
