"Eddie
lay there, he was feeling incredibly hot. He could not believe how hot he was
and he didn’t have a clue why, or where he was. He could feel the sweat all
over his body but the discomfort of the heat was nothing compared to the searing
pain in his shoulder and an intense throbbing in his head.
Where was
he? Where could he be that made him feel this way? He could hardly keep his
eyes open but the pain stopped him from drifting off to sleep. Within what
seemed a few seconds he had gone from burning up to feeling intensely cold; so
cold that his body started to shake. His teeth were chattering. From feeling
hot one minute how could he feel so cold the next?
'What the
hell is happening to me,' he croaked to anybody that might hear. There was
nobody."
