Respecting Yourself

As a woman you are not to be bought or paid for.  Your body is a temple, and you should be treating it as such.  You do not need a man to make you whole or to validate you.  If you believe or feel you need validation from anyone, get it from God.  Learn to have some self worth.  Don’t stay with a man that makes you feel less. Advancement is not between your legs but in your strength to create and empower yourself and other women. Let’s not aspire to be nothing.

Here are a couple of ideas about respecting yourself.

·        Respect your body and your mate’s body.

·        Don’t put excessive alcohol or drugs into your body.

·        Don’t become a gold digger; it is a form of prostitution despite what some women believe.

·        The word B***h should only refer to female dogs and not women.  Do not allow your man or your girlfriends to refer to you as a B***h.  This is not a nickname.

·        If you want to be treated like an adult, behave like an adult.

Never allow yourself to be disrespected by a man.

1.      Name calling/Verbal abuse

2.      Physical abuse

3.      Emotional abuse

4.      Sexual abuse

5.      Financial abuse

Please heed to the inner voice and warning signs that something isn’t right.  Women’s intuition is a real thing.
