About the Book
“HIS STORY” is a thorough evaluation of religion, from a true Christian perspective. It begins with the basic Bible stories, and ends with exposing the secrets behind witchcraft. Since all of us have fallen asleep on the couch, at one point in time, reading the Scriptures, he has written the entirety of this book in poetic format, with the intention of making it more enjoyable, and easier, to read. Nick has also attempted to add humor, where appropriate, without disrespecting or disrupting the Lord Jesus or His Word. Nick resides in the quiet, reclusive Blue Ridge Mountains, with his lovely girlfriend, Andrea, and their adorable daughter, Harley. They have a timber wolf hybrid, as their loyal family pet. Though this is his first book, Nick hopes this initial accomplishment will serve as a launching pad for a reputable literary career.
About the Author
Though this will be his first book, Nick has spent most of his life studying both theology and philosophy. This was done both in school, as well as on his own merit. Nick's life experiences have also consistently seemed to lead him back to religion, in some form or fashion. Though Nick doesn't have an impressive literary resume, he feels he qualifies as an expert on this subject material. Nick resides in Virginia with his girlfriend and their daughter. To contact Nick, you may do so by either writing him directly at twilighthaven@excite.com or by visiting him at either www.twilight-haven.com or at www.myspace.com/christianlight777. After what felt to be a millennium All around him, were souls going insane Longing in vain, for an ending to their pain With fire and brimstone serving as rain As the hell spawn proceeded to choke him A sharp heat shot through Sean’s nervous system The pain was so intolerable He feared he would die right there Questioning if he disappeared If anyone would notice or care Sean gagged at his attacker’s rancid breath As his internal organs were reduced to soup Sean struggled to fight the eminent death Though he felt more and more weak Around this freak He whom Sean had previously wished to comfort Now appeared to be his new source of hurt Just as Sean began to lose feeling, and only seconds from fainting The disturbing face finally spoke to him Without parting his obscenely chapped lips The cryptic voice asked him “Why didn’t you tell me?” The voice spouted in a raspy whisper And it seemed to be That it came out of nowhere The weakened Sean tried to answer But just didn’t have a prayer Sean soon began to feel numb As his lids began to close As he slipped from consciousness He repented for the life he chose Sean then began to come out of his diabolical vivid trance And found himself not dead, but startled in his own bed He had been given what many are denied, a second chance Relieved he was still breathing, he did a thorough check Soaked in hot sweat, and infected burns on his neck His alarm clock was going off that morning But all he could hear was what he interpreted as a warning Thinking you’ll live forever is just a childish spell So many people had disappointed and deserted him That he decided to pay God back, and rebel But now he knew if he were to continue That he would just end up in hell And that next time, it would be exactly what it seemed And not just something dreadful he had dreamed
