Dean C. Norman, MD is an award winning educator and the author/editor of numerous scientific papers and books. He spent his childhood surfing the beaches of Southern California and achieved the rank of second degree black belt in Shotokan (traditional) karate. Dr. Norman graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1976 and has devoted much of his career to improving the quality of medical care for our nation’s veterans. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
