About the Author

My name is Kendy Raymond, 23 years old, and I'm from the island of Haiti. Since I was born, I was given a very passionate Gift of reading and writing, but I never thought that dream would come true until I moved here in New York City together with my family.

After receiving many awards and encouragements from my professors in college,  I started to realize that God would make a way although the language barrier was a big challenge to face, but God has given me grace to overcome.

I'm now a member of The Brooklyn Tabernacle where I served The Lord, my God, through many ministries while I'm still waiting patiently for His love and mercy to bring me through every struggle of my life.

God Bless You!

Shape me!

Shape me, Oh Lord,
the way you want to,
for You are my owner.
If it is to be done by fire,
Just as it is for silver,
In order to be pure,
May it be so!

You always love your children.
Rebuke and punishment are for their good.
You mature them through your rules.

If death would be
the key for my salvation,
may it be so!
For you know what's best for me.
Keep me away from the evil ones!
They hate me because of You.
You are my Lord, Oh God!
I will praise you forever.
May your love shine on me
abundantly along my way.

In my vision...

I saw the whole world united together in love
Where peace and joy took over war, pain, and suffering.
There was no rich or poor; everybody was equal.

I saw white- Americans, Africans, Haitians, and Dominicans.
People coming from Jamaica
Barbados, France, China
Mexico, Italy, etc.
They were all singing,
Dancing, laughing together.
There were no evil intents;
there was no need of army or warriors.

Then I saw Jesus standing
at a distance,
watching and smiling at us
with compassion. He said:
"These are my redeemed,
whom I've shed my blood for.
They shall live in harmony of
peace and love, which I've
always promised them."
