As I was growing up, I found it easier to put my feelings down on paper rather than to speak them out loud. I soon found myself writing poems that explained how I felt inside.
My school English teacher wanted me to send my poems into different publishers, but I didn't at that time. However, I did send one of my poems to Nashville where they wanted to turn my poem into a song, but I didn't do it because they wanted me to pay a lot of money to make my poem a song. They however, gave me a song writer's certificate.
When my youngest child turned eighteen, I decided to enroll in a freelance writing class and I began writing my very first fiction story. I graduated from this freelance writing class, but I didn't feel I knew enough to write and get published, so I enrolled in a creative arts class for professional children's writing and I graduted this class with a 4.00 average.
I love writing. I get lost within my imagination to find new ideas. I have three grown children, four grandchildren and another one on the way. I plan to write many good stroies to teach children some sort of principles that will help guide them in throughout their lives. Also, I plan to write stories that teach children how faith can get them through the toughest aspects of life.
Writing has always been easy for me and although it has been a dream of mine since childhood, I never thought I would be an author. I worked very hard to get where I am today. I plan on writing for adults as well as children. I may even get back into my poetry and make music from my words.
Dazed and bewildered, Mystical felt unsettled and uncertain as to what God had expected of him. Suddenly, the confused leprechaun heard a loud noise and he began to tremble more than he already was. At once, his rainbow began to shake causing the sprite’s gold to fall from his trembling hands. The pot of gold fell onto the castle below his rainbow and Mystical began shouting, “Help me please Gabriel! My gold fell out of my hands, and right off my rainbow.” Mystical continued to scream for help, stomping his disgusting feet as if he was a child that did not get his way.
