About the Book
This book is called "Cape Town Capers" and while I was in Africa I took the photo's.  It features lots of local children and is both thought provoking and exciting.  I had story time for the children during the Groundhog Festival week in Punxsutawney.  They participated in trying to make the clicking noise of the Xhosa people as well as closing their eyes and visualised swimming under water with the dolphins.

"Would you like to swim with the dolphins?" asked Bubble.

"Oh, yes!" exclaimed Ben, as Bubble dived down into the water and soon the boys were gliding under the water, as fluidly as the dolphins were swimming.

It was magical.  They were in another world which was quiet and still, even though there were hundreds of shining dolphins and colorful fish everywhere.

The dolphins came right up to them and touched the sides of Bubble with gentle inquisitive noses.

"Would you like to stroke them?" asked Bubble.

"Can we?  Can we really touch them?" asked the boys.

"Just put your hands out and touch them," encouraged Bubble.

The boys looked at each other and then they stretched out their arms.  The dolphins came right up to meet their outstretched hands; they seemed eager for the boys to touch them.  The dolphins loved it; they spun round and round, while the boys stroked their bellies.

The boys were so surprised that the dolphins weren't scared of them.  In fact the dolphins seemed to be smiling and would leap from the water, laughing.

"Look, Bubble.  They love it!" cried out Ben.  "They sound like they are laughing!"
