About the Author

Calvin Harasemchuk is a Metis from Canada, He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His family moved to the Kenora, Ontario area, when he was young, He considers Laclu, his home.The Gentle Giant, he's 6'5", has travelled and worked all over Ontario. A former Police Officer, he had to leave, due an career ending injury. Calvin has always written poems, starting at an early age, Also he sketches land scenes, all because of his Grade Four Teacher, who encouraged him. Married with two children, who have left the nest. One Son recently got married, they are expecting their first child, a first Grandchild for Calvin and Frances. Growing up, Calvin was, and still is an avid reader.

A jack of all trades, Calvin has run heavy equipment, been a Fireman, Security Manager and lastly, a Foreman for the Ministry of Transportation Ontario
