Do you know God never leaves you alone? As you walk through life with all of its ups and downs, triumphs and tragedies, happy fun filled days and days of extreme loneliness, God never leaves you. At just the right time He will intervene or send an Angel into your life, if you will but be aware of them.
This book is about the many times God has intervened in my life and those in my family by sending His Angels. There are many types of events from trips on the road, to times in hospitals having just received grave news, even to the events of our home literally falling in. But these interventions by God and His Angels haven’t just happened in my family, they have happened countless times in yours as well.
My hope and prayer is that this book will fill you with peace and at the same time, encourage you to write down your own memories. I have included some questions to get you started. Because when those dry times come, as they do to all of us, when God seems so far away, you can read through your notes and journals and find peace knowing you were never, ever left alone. Events aren’t just that you were lucky, or it was a coincidence. No, God intervened and had you “In The Presence of Angels”.

There have been many bumps and potholes in the road I have traveled for over seventy years. Some have been almost too small to notice while others brought me quickly to my knees, but it is a great comfort to know that you and I will never walk our paths alone.
One huge lesson I have learned along life’s pathways is that we never grow or learn when all about us is sunny, carefree and going well. It is when the unforeseen happens and our very roots are shaken that we grow and learn.
I’m writing this book to let you know God will shoulder your burden so it becomes lighter. He will guide your path if you will but ask Him to. He will give you strength and courage for every situation. All He asks is that you have faith to walk your path of life trusting Him with all your heart, soul and strength.
I believe in angels, God’s interventions and miracles. I know they have always been a part of my life. It was only after I had cancer and had a lot of time to think about my life that I realized how many encounters with angels had actually happened, and they are only the ones I was aware of. There are many that I will never even know about. These are events for which there is no other explanation other than God intervened and sent an angel.
How often have you heard someone say “What a coincidence that was!” or “Boy were you lucky?” These are people who don’t recognize what God is doing in their life, what He has always done, but they have never stopped to notice or given Him the credit.
I first started my book about angels years ago by writing these events down, not in any order, but as they came to mind. I would like to share some of these with you so that you will be inspired to write your own book about God’s interventions and angels He has sent to you. Why write these events down? Because we all have days when God seems so far away, when we feel alone and are scared, and don’t know what the future holds for us. It is at these times you can look back over your own book of when God sent you angels that you will realize God has never left you, that you were never alone. You will see He always worked things out, even when your faith was small and you were still trying to be in charge yourself. You learn that at these times, if you just give all your fears and hurts to the One who is in control, He will lead you and protect you as He always has and always will.
