About The Author

Robert Davis was born in New Haven CT.  He was raised by his mother in the Newhallville area, has been a god-fearing man, and used to get mixed up with the wrong group of people.  He gave in to the temptation of sex, money and drugs and decided to live a life he would soon regret.  A member of the All Gods Children Church of New Haven, Robert is currently a general manager for the largest retail company in the world and a proud father of two beautiful children. After spending several years in prison for numerous crimes, he grew very tired of the street life and was determined to change his life as an ex-con (it was very hard for him to catch a break in life).

Finally he found a dead end job and his hunger to succeed took over.  He used his dead end job to land a more promising one and became even hungrier.  Robert used his charisma street smarts to hustle his way from the bottom of the company to 11 years later earning a six-figure salary, managing his own multi-million dollar unit for the same company.  In his free time, Robert likes to play with his kids and invest in real estate, where he buys and leases properties; he also gets involved in his community by speaking at local halfway houses and drug programs with the hopes of inspiring someone else to accomplish what he has and more.

I learned a lot about people while in jail and was forced to grow up and become a man real fast. I had to learn to take care of myself or i wouldn't have made it. I saw a lot of guy's lose their manhood, saw grown men have their dinner taken from them because they were too afraid to stick up for themselves. I even saw guy's get stabbed with the end of toothbrushes for stealing soup. But the worst thing to watch was a man dressed up like a women, unceremoniously sitting between another mans's legs like they were husband and wife. that shit got to me. But you see it all in prison and only the strong survive.
