is a compilation of motivational and inspirational thoughts, written personally by Everton Llewellyn Hohn. These thoughts were carefully selected so that they could reach my audience through motivational reasoning. If carefully read and studied, they were designed to help those who go through severe hardships both mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially.
As people of God’s promise, we were not created to go through torment. So I endeavor that this book will be able to transform human lives to the greatest dimension. Capitalize on the fear that exists in your lives, and you will produce a beacon of hope for yourself and those around you. Seek for peace in your lives as you go through the pages and pursue the realms of your glory.
Everton Llewellyn Hohn, author of the motivational and inspirational book, The Gospel According to the Running Man: The Road to Glory, was born nearly fifty years ago to George and Eva Hohn in the cool mountains of Saint Ann, Jamaica, West Indies. This was at a time when hope was rarely given to anyone born out of poor parentage. I trained myself to beat the odds so that I could overcome every adversity to become a worthwhile part of society.
I was schooled at the Aboukir Educational and Industrial Institute, which was formed by Mr. Moses Mayne of the Inter American Improvement Association under the auspices of Kaiser Bauxite Jamaica Limited. I learned the art of true living through my involvement with the 4-H Club Movement. This Movement has created some of the greatest impact in my life alongside my family training.
I have been writing for over twenty-five years. From newspaper articles to poetry to Motivational and Inspirational writings, I endeavor to make them be a life-changing device for humanity. I have had a number of my Motivational and Inspirational poems published in Anthologies by the National Library of Poetry, the Poetry Guild, and World of Poetry Press. I am a distinguished member of The National Society of Poets and have received many certificates of merits for various competitions entered.
The Gospel According to the Running Man: The Road to Glory was used by me as daily motivational thoughts on the Marva Gallimore Show, WAXY 790 AM in Miami, Florida and Night Scope 1580 AM in "Davie Florida: Hosted by Septie and The Sensational Lady." Thanks to them for the promotion. From the book, I have compiled a compact disc entitled, The Gospels According to the Running Man: The Road to Glory, which is presently on the market. My undying motto: Never give up on your dreams; remain a challenge to everyone.

CHAPTER 1
1. You can be what you want to be if you do the right thing in its right perspective.
2. You can overcome if you play the right card in the game of life.
3. If you obey the rules, nothing can blithe your prosperity.
4. The problems of tomorrow's generation will be diminished when you erase instability from your surroundings.
5. The true reason for life is purely administered when you generate reality around your surroundings.
6. Nothing can turn you around when you focus your attention toward your goals.
7. You can abate the nuisance in your lives when you point the weapon towards it.
8. No real thing can disappear from your view when your eyes are focused on it.
9. You can achieve what you want if you aim at your target and shoot the most high-powered missiles. They will crumble at your feet at the earliest attack.
10. The desires of one's heart are only moments away from your prayer when you truly believe.
11. When you seek earnestly for the rod, it will guide you to the truth.
12. The writing on the wall can only be seen when your eyes are set steadfastly on the writer.
13. If you ask for what you want, believe that you can get it and you shall get double the amount in return.
14.The revolution of your life depends on the motion of your cogwheel. Position yourself in the right direction you choose to go and your wheel will ride you home.
15. If you slow your wheel down, your life might forever be dwarfed .If you race it too fast, you are likely to run over board.
16. The vices of your lives are ruined when they become dry from a lack of fluid. Oil them with vitality and you will be able to recuperate from divulgence.
17. When you are burdened down with life's troubles, seek for new heights and overlook your fears.
18. When you overlook your fears, you will become a tower of strength for others to follow.
19. Nothing can stop you when you overpower disappointments and conquer the horizon.
20. It all belongs to you when you make the most powerful decision from the outset.
21. The disappointments that you encounter are only samples of life's greatness.
22. Study yourself when these disappointments strike, and make rapid adjustments so that you will never encounter then again.
23. You will become the greatest conqueror in history when you monitor your ability to perform the best in you.
24. Your goals are carefully achieved when you maintain the machinery that manufactures your dreams.
CHAPTER 5
1. Each day that you walk through this world, you have no need to fear because the promises of your forefathers rest entirely on you.
2. When the storms of life rage around you just, think of your long-term goals that you made when you were alone in the dark.
3. There are situations that bother your mind before daybreak, but now is the time to remember that they were only tricks that were designed to captivate your intellect.
4. You were told by your mentors that agents would dwarf your progress, but here comes the time when you will have to prove who controls your life.
5. As long as your motives in life are pure and true, there is no one who can stop your progress. They may try everything in their power to victimize you, but they cannot deter you from achieving your goals.
6. Your road may be long and winding, but it is important for you to think that it will only take you to perfection.
7. No traps that are set for you along life's highway can catch you or prevent you from getting where you want to go.
8. Nothing can prevent you from completing your journey that you started long ago.
9. Each day that you live, you see more of your promises fulfilled.
10. The longer that you stay at the wicket it is the better score you will make in your life.
11. Because you maintained a good track record, many have chosen to retrace your steps and go after your score.
12. They will follow you not because you are a winner but because you are a record leader.
13. You have won the race because you have chosen the right pattern for success.
14, You knew before the race that no one could have passed you, so that while you ran they cheered you to the winning post.
15. The challenges that you got from your opponents were made to weaken you, and you proved to them that nothing could stop you from getting there.
16. You will take the world by storm when you demonstrate the will to perseverance.
17. The frame of mind that you are clothed in will destroy ignorance and arrogance that exist in your surroundings.
18. Your hands will be washed with pure water and your heart cleansed with beauty by those who follow the promise.
19. Whatever you do in the name of love and sincerity, you will never walk alone though when you walk, you walk through death's dark valley.
20. Touch every life you meet with a sense of belonging and you will achieve your part of the prize.
