This book is the true story of Ferlin Clay Morgan’s life. Read and learn how his health dropped from 100% down to about 30% in just a few months. Ferlin Clay Morgan was born in 1966 as a fairly healthy child, and grew up as a farm hand that was very gifted. He could do just about anything he set his mind to do. Ferlin finished high school and sought his first job. Everything was going well for him for the first three or four years; then suddenly, bad luck took over his life. The author states, "Have you ever felt that your life here on God’s green earth was over, and no one person could tell you why?" The author became ill and was diagnosed with phlebitis in his veins. As the years passed by the condition worsened and was very painful. By January 1996 the condition had crippled him, and by Christmas of that year the illness had nearly taken his life. But thanks to God and the comfort and support of Mr. Morgan’s wife and little boy, he found the strength to hang on and keep fighting. Thankfully, six very good doctors found his problem and fixed it, giving Ferlin the opportunity to tell his story.

I was a kid that was born in 1966 and was fairly healthy, and didn’t have any sickness other than asthma trouble and as the year’s past I seem to have grew out of it. I also didn’t have any kind of birth defect’s that I can recall of, when I was born. But in the late 1987 I began to encounter some complication’s that I had never encountered before in my health, by that time I was about 21 years of age. You got to remember that in those 21 years I run around, jumped and played just like any other kid. I played all kinds of sports in school and out of school. I was named all conference in Basketball and Football, and I won the school’s Physical Education Award for 8 years. Well I got out of school, I picked up all kinds of trades to get started in life with. Such things as a Mechanic, Carpenter work and operating heavy equipment, such as dozers and loaders. I would go to work every day just like the next person, with no thoughts at all on my mind about getting down and not being able to work the next day. Now you have got to really think about this, I was only 21 years of age at the time this happened to me. I was quite along ways from home, and that really complicated things because I couldn’t drive a the time and I didn’t know where to begin to go and see a doctor, and I didn’t know where I was going to find a hospital, and even if I could have there would still been a problem, because I didn’t have the money to pay for a visit with a doctor.
