About the Author

Graham Sutherland is a retired police officer, and currently the Beadle and Town Crier of Warwick; also a Blue Badge Tourist Guide for the Heart of England. He is married with  three adult daughters. Always a keen historian, he was a founder member of the Warwickshire Constabulary History Society, with a special interest in 19th Century policing.

   Already the author of numerous non-fiction pubications, mainly to do with Warwickshire, policing and some of the more infamous crimes in English criminal history, Mayfield is his first venture into fiction, and part 1 of a trilogy, centered around John Mayfield.
