All About Eva

About the Book

After the death of his father, John is seeking answers. A trip down memory lane results in a chance meeting with Eva, a young girl with very special powers. They embark on a mission of compassion which results in them being catapulted back over three centuries into the English Civil War, where they encounter the violence, death and destruction of that time. Only Eva has the ability to save them.

About the Author

Malcolm Brooks was born in Castleford, in the West Riding of Yorkshire. He was educated at Normanton Grammar School and Durham University, where he graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Computing. After thirty-five years of teaching in the Kingston upon Hull area, he retired in 2005. Although coaching and officiating in athletics takes up much of his time since retirement, being a member of the National Trust has given him the chance to pursue his interest in English history and the impetus to write his first novel.
