ADVENTURE OF SEX IN POWER

The adventure of sex in power has its socio-political, economic, legal and technological implications from what has just been examined. It has psychological connotations in assessing; genetical in prodding; semiotical in interpreting, anthropological in essence; spiritual in tempering. Both genders accept as desirable a certain degree of violence and anger in sex, stemming from the male warrior mode thus, sex is seen as a male-dominated act in which men win and women lose, and often is described metaphorically in economic terms, as in suggestions of women "buying" financial security by marrying. The attitudes about each gender are inculcated from childhood, but they are also affected by political and cultural changes. As more women on the work force fewer are dependent upon men. As new birth control devices are invented, women are provided a degree of sexual freedom. As modern warfare becomes more technological, male physical strength is devalued. Although contemporary changes would seem to be relieving women from depending upon men, hence from the need to "play the sexual card" to achieve economic well-being, the culture still treats beauty as a female's most important asset. This idea structures how both males and females behave towards, think about, and perceive females. One clear effect is that the demand that females be beautiful interferes with the move of women into public realms, such as workplaces and politics.
